Express Glazing Contractors, as it has grown and the Capital has changed, has had a number of bases in London over its long business life.
Prior to 1984 we were based in Kilburn then Elephant & Castle prior to moving to The Colonnade, Russell Square in 1984.
Express is one of the oldest and largest glazing companies in the country and carry out most of our works within the M25 and London areas, whilst offering a nationwide service.
We later moved to North Mews, Holborn in 1986, relocating from there in 2001 as it became residential, to Glasshouse Fields, Wapping, for a short period whilst we refurbished a new base in Blundell Street, Kings Cross, where we remained from 2002 until 2016 when this area was re-developed and we moved to our larger base here in London E17.
During this time, there has been a continuity of management and staff, which together have given extensive knowledge, experience and professional skills to Express Glazing Contractors. Consequently, it has been able to provide its customers with a complete service for all their glass, glazing and applied window requirements fully over such a long period.
In 1986, Express joined the Glass & Glazing Federation (GGF) and has been an active member since, sitting on and ‘chairing’ various committees and learning from and contributing to the whole of the glass, glazing and window film industry.
Express looks forward to the long-term future and working with its staff, customers and suppliers for many years to come.
